Add a "Delete Device" button to your My Account webpage
I have just spent over an hour on the phone trying to delete an obsolete spot device from my account. It seems there is no way to do it online - only by phone. It has been a complete waste of my valuable time, and it is COSTING SPOT UNNECESSARY OVERHEAD. These is a real lost profit opportunity for Spot - and it is very ANNOYING to your customers...

How about a way to contact you so I can cancel my account?

Improve SPOT X USB door
The flap door never stays on because of the current design of the 2 little plastic numbs. The door should be redesigned with stainless steel pin like what is used on watches. If Spot is using satellite to communicate then it should put a weather app in as well. Good to now what the weather is when out in the middle of nowhere.

text and check in notification

Email address on website
It is ridiculous that when I click "My devices" I get a "General error" with the message to try again later or contact you. When choosing the latter I get told only for USA/CAN users AND you're not online at the time of writing this. WHY do you not have an email? You cost an arm and a leg and you provide NO service. VERY VERY BAD.

Signal strength indicator on SPOT X
Add signal strength indicator to top bar of screen or something, anything, that indicates the signal strength so we can optimally aim the device.

Spot X must accept AA or AAA batteries as an option without use of powerbank.
Having built-in only rechargeable is not sufficient for and emergency device targeted for outdoors-men and gals crowd.

Wrap on predefined messages list on SPOT X
Make it possible to go to bottom of 14 messages by pressing up when on the first message and back by pressing down

Topo Maps in SPOT X
Do you ever plan on including topo maps for better navigation on the SPOT X? I received my SPOT X last week and have been testing it out. I like it a lot, especially the built-in keyboard but the topo maps would help a lot with navigating.

Timestamp incoming messages with the time they were originally sent, not when received.
The timestamp on an incoming message should be the time it was sent, like with e-mail. Currently the timestamp is the time received, which is useless information. A message like "see you in 2 hours" is meaningless on a device that fetches messages at long intervals, unless we know what time it was sent. You have the information in the header of the original text or email. Use that instead of replacing it on the Spot.

Give discounts for multiple devices on an account
Some people are willing to have two devices such as spot trace to keep track of assets and Gen2 to wear on their person. Why not give customers a discount for having multiple devices. It would help keep customers with the company longer as we all know it cost more money to bring in new customers than it does to retain an existing customer.

Ability to add a secondary payment method
There needs to be back up payment information on the system. I was just on a 28 day trip through the back country of Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona, I had paid the annual renewal fee last month, and have been a client for over a year paying the monthly fee. At the beginning of the trip my credit card was compromised and turned off because of it. I did not have internet or email access for much of the time I was out in the back country so when you tried to charge my credit card and it…

Stronger Tracking Signal
Increase power for tracking signal. The tracking capability is too weak relative to other trackers.

SpotX should tone when sending SOS
When SOS is activated SpotX could make sound. Then if you could not see the device at least you could hear it

Stealth mode for Gen3
Been a while since I've used a Gen3 but I'm surprised you still have all the flashing lights. Good if you need to locate it in the dark. However when you are using it as a motion activated tracking device like the trace the lights give unwanted visibility and use batteries unnecessarily. You could have a stealth mode which people could choose like dock mode. It would shut off the lights like the trace when it is active

SpotX incoming notification should be higher-pitch and easier to hear
When SpotX fetches a new incoming message it makes a fairly low tone and dim sound. This should be at least be changeable.

Too expensive subscription
Like many people all I want my spot for is for emergency use, I don’t really care about the other features, I won’t be renewing my subscription as it cheaper for me to buy a plb and that’s a one off costs not yearly.
Its simply too expensive and there are much cheaper options
A long time customer lost
