  1. Notify SPOT users via text message when there is a Firmware update

    SPOT users need to know where there is a Firmware Update. Please notify us via Text or Email when there is an update available.
    You have NO problem letting us know when our Bill is due, how about letting us know when our Device needs an update ?
    During a recent trip my SPOT did not work. When I updated the firmware, the SPOT worked again. This is UNsat.

  2. Allow update for units on Chromebook as well as Mac or windows

    Allow update for units on Chromebook ... why just written for windows and Mac? Lots of us are on the go, and not always able to access those options. I bout my units and flew over to Bahamas to install. Now I find that the units need to be “ updated “ by plugging into USB port on Mac or a windows computer. I don’t have access to either, so I’m not able to use them.

  3. Spot Updater Firmware 1.9 for Mac still won't open

    Still get a message that Apple won't open the installer because it can't verify that the software is free of malicious content. Seems like somebody ought to fix this? Been six months...

  4. Bug: FROZEN DEVICE AFTER POWER DIES, CANNOT REFLASH FIRWARE

    My SPOTX refused to recharge and reboot after the power died. The SpotX firmware updated does not recognized the device. It appears to be completely dead. What remedy is there for this?
