  3. SPOT map would smartly draw lines between Start/End of trips. Manual drawing of tracks also.

    Developing a way to enable a trace to be drawn between location points? Both in the app and the SPOT account. A trail between waypoints would make the app/site far more user friendly. Allow for automated lines as well as manual drawing in case trips last over days and the map decides it is not only one trip.

  4. Aviation Charts inclusion in SPOT Account

    Great product. It would be helpful, and a GREAT sales tool, if you could incorporate aviation charts for location. These "sectional" charts are easily overlayed on your present system and would create a bigger market for aviators.

  6. Alert me if a device moves in certain times of the day

    I want to be able to get an alert if my device moves between 8pm and 6am, for example. As no one should be driving my trailer at this time of the day.

  7. Allow reactivation with same device/profile configuration

    Better customer service.
    I logged in to renew my subscription after being away to find all device information deleted. What practical purpose has that served other than to delay the renewal process until I am both in front of a PC AND have my spotme with me at the same time.

  8. Stop locking people out of their account

    I’m in the middle of the Nullabor plain in south Australia. Little reception. You’ve just locked me out of my account and says to contact service. I can’t make calls with my signal strength. Not happy.

  9. Switch Plan via My Account

    I’d love to be able to switch my plan via my account page. You seem to have an account management system that is stuck in the 1990s.

  10. Ability to add a secondary payment method

    There needs to be back up payment information on the system. I was just on a 28 day trip through the back country of Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona, I had paid the annual renewal fee last month, and have been a client for over a year paying the monthly fee. At the beginning of the trip my credit card was compromised and turned off because of it.   11. Ease of activation improvement

    Give better instructions on activation process, have reliable contact ability for customer support. Example- I have no idea what I am supposed to write in the "device name" box. Also, having trouble activating my new device and attempting to submit via email a question/report of my issue. Upon submission I get a message stating that this service is not available. What do I do now?

  12. Give discounts for multiple devices on an account

    Some people are willing to have two devices such as spot trace to keep track of assets and Gen2 to wear on their person. Why not give customers a discount for having multiple devices. It would help keep customers with the company longer as we all know it cost more money to bring in new customers than it does to retain an existing customer.

  13. Why is there no 400 minute pa

    I purchased the Sat Phone for emergency purposes only. I travel with my RV through areas where there is no other phone service. Myself and I am sure many others do this for the same reason. I don’t need a 1500 plan as I will not use all those minutes. I have probably only used maybe 45 minutes in the 3 years I have owned the phone. This to me is a money grab. If I cannot get a smaller plan I will not be renewing my contract. I know of many people in my area that are considering the…

  14. Upgrading plans

    Hi there,
    I'm sure there's a way to do this but I have been logged & searching every possible option to renew & upgrade my plan.
    I don't seem to have been notified that my plan had expired & I'm still searching for how to upgrade & pay..

  15. Improve the "Monitor Device Usage" function.

    I wanted to see a history of my device's usage for the last couple of weeks, trying to track a problem, but I could not get such a thing.
    I wanted to know if my device was actually transmitting or not.

  16. Keep my account info

    Keep my account info even after my term has lapsed. I went to reactivate today, my login still worked, but my device info had been deleted. This is poor service.

  17. Prices wont show

    when setting up a new account, the website wont show me the subscription plans, so I cant complete my account or use my new Spot X. Later on, it says "internal error" please try again later.

  18. keep customers informed of problems

    recently we had a linking problem with FB. No prior advice from Spot as to the problem and no prior advice that the problem was fixed

  19. Explain where to find ESN and Auth Code on all devices

    Tell people where the Auth Number is. You say where to find the ESN why not tell them where the Auth is.
