Roadside Assistance Response for Motorcycles and Vehicles
Every roadside assistance tow vehicle should be capable of handling both 4-wheeled vehicles -and- motorcycles. The one and only time I used Roadside Assistance the truck that came had no means of towing a motorcycle. The towing service driver just said he couldn't take a motorcycle and left. And, that was after waited for 2 hours. It was extremely disappointing. With SPOT, there is no way to communicate to the dispatch what type of vehicle I'm in. They ought to be prepared and capable of towing either cars or motorcycles.
If you get the SOV save our vehicle service, its very unclear if you will be able to get a towing truck to find you; if you are on a logging road or other flat dirt road. Would say that 30% of all roads in rural areas can be dirt roads. Sure would hate to be out hunting or other traveling and not be able to get assistance - but per the FAQ it would get escalated, so at least there is that.
