USB cover not secure
Already posted but I want to reiterate - the USB cover is not secure and falls out easily. I can't lose this out on the boat and still have a waterproof secure device. It need to have a more positive connection, something similar to a Garmin chartplotter would be great.
I too would like to see a more secure door. I realized it would be a problem and I have tape going down from the back over the door and up to the space bar. Doesn't look great but its functional and I haven't lost a door yet. I use mine everywhere ,everyday. Actually got rid of my cell phone since SpotX
Agree, The Spot X USB door is not secure and thus the device is no longer water proof. Just lost the second door. Very frustrating.

This is a problem. what are you going to do about these covers that won't stay shut? the connection with the USB port is flimsy as well...this does not bode well in the backcountry.

yes very frustrating. almost lost mine in the middle of a 8 day adventure race
First trip with the Spot X. Idaho back country. the door covering the USB port fell off. Called Spot today and was informed there is no replacement part but if I purchase the replacement plan ($50) and service plan ($17.99) then I could have a new device. That is absurd. The device is 2 weeks old an broke. Fix it. Once again, poor customer service from Spot.

the port cover has broken off and is very loose.
