Alerts/Contacts/Edit Contact (I could have provided a screenshot if attachment was possible) there seems to be a bug for us in Norway, Europe. When I choose "sms", I have to choose provider. But there is NO Norwegian provider listed...Why don't do that like othere pages, and first select country - then phone number? To keep track with all provideres, is a big job... SMS works perfect from my Spot Gen-3 to phone numbers listed in the main menu for my device. Hope you fix this issue so my family can follow me skiing in the mountain this winter :-)
Same problem here. It seems that Spot CANNOT NOTIFY via SMS OUTSIDE OF US/CANADA/MEXICO. If I knew that I would not have bought it.
