  1. Longer Data Storage

    I would like to see SPOT save the history of a customer's trip inside the account for the life of the account.
    Strava (iPhone) for example retains all you have done and it offers summaries"

    We are actively developing a new mapping and storage system. Please check back for future updates on this project.

  2. More User Friendly

    To make it easier to cancel subscription. I contacted someone months ago to have our subscription cancelled and thought it had been. To find out it had not. We have not used the Spot device since last year. Now I call and have to be called back or to call again to just cancel my account when I was told after the first year it could be cancelled at anytime.

  5. ability to end billing from website

    i cannot find a way to remove my master card from billing, I also see no way to end billing and stop all services. I have been on hold for some time to attain this now. very frustrating. it is doubtful we will use globalstar in the future because of this.

  6. Other valid VISA payment options.

    More payment options - debit Visa cards. I have such a card that is recognized by other companies/websites as a VALID VISA card. Payment is directly taken from my bank account, regardless of account. Unable to complete the transaction to pay my account.

  9. Rotate Photos in adventure

    Currently, my adventure: for the photos section, is loading some, not all, photos incorrectly, on it's side rather than top up. It would be great if there were a function that allowed users to ROTATE photos, crop, edit etc...

  12. Use of multiple devices

    If we could switch between devices ourselves it would save Spot time. Having multiple devices can be very expensive. In many cases we don't use multiple devices at the same time. For example, I have a daughter that lives in Banff and goes out on trips occasionally and has a Gen2, I also have a son who lives at home in Strathmore(2hrs from Banff), he occasionally goes snowmobiling and takes a Gen2. If I could switch between devices myself it would save me having to call in to have your guys do it. Same idea would work for Trace but…

  13. Spot Mentors

    This is something I've been doing for 10 years. Get people onto using Spot and help them with every aspect. I know you guys have 24/7 help but people need to be encouraged to familiarize themselves with the use of the device so they get comfortable with it. Most times before they phone you for help ,they have already been frustrated by the account or the device and get rid of it

  14. More flexible minute plans

    Have more flexible plans. I pay for the minimum amount of minutes for a hefty price tag. Each year I may use less then 5 minutes total yet the minimum plan is something like 750 minutes. For some folks the pricing structure is very high. You may pick up incremental business and further retain people like with phones for emergency use.

    Create geofence feature where I can assign one or more devices to it and be notified if the device leaves or enters the defined geofence

    Hello, I write concerning Customer Account # CUST0050544303 for an Australian based account.

    On 8 December 2018 I renewed the contract for 12 months. I write to check that the Contract Renewal Date shown of "12/07/2019" actually refers to 7 December 2019 (I assume 2/07/2019 is the American date format).

    Can you please confirm my current contract runs a full 12 months period, ending on 7 December 2019?

    Finally, to avoid this confusion for others, can I suggest that FindMeSpot set up its date formats in each country in a format that is consistent with that countries accepted date format?

  19. Have you changed satellites?

    After rather doubting my daughter in law when she borrowed my SPOT to climb Kilimanjaro and had a few check in failures I have now had a couple of failures on safari in South Africa. It has never failed me before from many places in the world and was wonderful in China where they blocked internet. Now heading for the desert so will be especially careful to find clear open spaces.

  20. SPOT map would smartly draw lines between Start/End of trips. Manual drawing of tracks also.

    Developing a way to enable a trace to be drawn between location points? Both in the app and the SPOT account. A trail between waypoints would make the app/site far more user friendly. Allow for automated lines as well as manual drawing in case trips last over days and the map decides it is not only one trip.
