Include Invoice with Monthly Email
It would be nice to receive my monthly invoice INCLUDED in the monthly email o i don't need to navagitate five or 6 different layers from logging into mySpot account to download the invoice each time.

Issue a Detailed Payment Receipt
Love the product, love the service! Keep it up!. However, PLEASE issue a more detailed payment receipt. Every time I submit this as a work expense, I get it sent back as there are so few details. Accounting is not my bailey wick, but I don't have this problem with any other receipts! At some point it is going to get rejected and we will be forced to switch to anther provider.

Make SOS Messages Customizable
1.) Like the other message types the SOS Message type should be customizable too:
- email distribution list
- additional message text2.) the SOS message should be included in the api. All message types should be included in the api.

Like to see the Ok! and the custom messages when sent out to read in UTM Cords it defaults to Lon and Lat
When you send out an I'm OK! or a Custom message and you ask to send cords and Altimeter or just I'm OK the Cords default to Longitude and Latitude this needs to change to set up in UTM(Metric) that all hikers use easy to read and fast the Longitude and Latitude are good if you on a Boat! You can set it up and Mapping, but like it on Custom so when send to a friend and read it faster and the Search and rescue use UTM let's get this done! Be the first!!!

Bring back non-prohibitive price points.
Got my spotX a year or two ago, and I'm not a frequent enough user to get a subscription. Just went to activate on the monthly plan for a TRT thru hike and see that there's now an annual flex fee IN ADDITION to the activation fee IN ADDITION to the monthly fee? I understand you need to make money, but this pricing structure has scam written all over it. And it's more than a little maddening, as the SOS feature could literally save someone's life, and you're making it less and less accessible financially. Bon Voyage, Spot. I'm going…

Decent activation/payment interface
Your activation system is awful on findmespot.com. Gives nonspecific errors when there is a credit card problem and then just plain locks up.

Support for APO AE addresses
Your website does not allow for APO AE addresses, making it impossible to create an account or activate a device. I am stationed in Germany, where Spot is supposed to provide coverage. If I cannot create an account and activate my device, then I will return it and purchase a Garmin InReach instead.

SPOT App necessary updates
The SPOT app does some things good, but it has plenty of opportunity for improvement. The following "bad" are things to fix:
Bad - Can only access one spot account. So if you have multiple loved ones who carry SPOT and have different accounts, this app can only show one of them at a time. And reconfiguring for another account is work.
Bad - Doesn't highlight the latest track/OK point. If the latest point blinked, then you could easily tell where the person was without having to zoom in and read the time-stamp on each message.

I would like to be able to either show live tracking on the Adventures page, or be able to load a route and waypoints onto the Share page
I would like a way for family and friends to view my progress on a designated route that I upload or create. This would give them a better idea of progress, and if I've deviated from the route. Really important in adventure racing. A dot on a map doesn't do much for people who don't live in Alaska.

Like to get the company do a full detail on youtube on and about your own web page from seeing the tracks and to see all and the details and tips and tricks there is nothing to make it better to understand

Improvement on background map quality
The background map used in message presentation is very inaccurate in the Nordic countries countryside. It should be possible to choose from different map sources with the same projection, like Openstreet, Esri maps.
To get a good view of a route from ie tracking, you must today first export a set of messages to a .gpx file and import the file into another mapping solution (like Esri ArcGIS online or Garmin Basecamp). This is tedious and should not be necessary.
Messages should also be stored indefinitely.22 votes -
Clip-on mount
A clip-on mount would be helpful for people who don't want their device swinging from their belt, pack, etc. The clip needs to be big, and grip hard to keep the device in place.

Spot HUG customized sensor names
Spot HUG devices NEED custom sensor names. You used to have this. Why the change?? Change it back.

SPOT app back up data.
I have had to uninstall reinstall the SPOT app and have lost the data that was available prior to uninstall.
Option via setting to manual backup/restore of data. Needed in case of new phone or uninstall reinstall.

Pro-rata subscription
We are 77 years old and we do not go off road in Australia that much now, and we are getting away less in our caravan. Perhaps a subscription related to how many days in a year SPOT will be used. At the moment it is getting expensive.
