    I couldn't agree more. Our insurance requires us to have a "tracking device" on the boat at all times. It has been 5 days since we got a notification that The Spot was working properly only to find out, there is a firmware update that could be interfering with it transmitting information to us. This is very unsettling! What if we were counting on having that information of where the boat was in those days? When we travel, we do not always have access to a computer to do an update even if we were aware of one. Shame on The Spot for not notifying customers of necessary updates.
