   Same problem here. It seems that Spot CANNOT NOTIFY via SMS OUTSIDE OF US/CANADA/MEXICO. If I knew that I would not have bought it.

   I have not had access to Windows/Mac for over 10 years. My destkop OS is linux.
   I cannot update the firmware.
